How to make an appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling the clinic on 03 9822 9944

If you have an urgent matter such as a skin cancer, or your GP has expressed the need for urgency, please explain the nature of your concern to our reception team.

Our wait list is approximately four months due to the popularity of our dermatologists but cancellations do come up regularly. We thank you for your patience and please know that we are working incredibly hard behind the scenes to see patients in a timely manner.

Please note that only one problem can be attended to per consultation/visit. This ensures that our dermatologists can give full attention to your specific issue and maintain timely appointments for all patients.

Fees

We are a private billing specialist clinic and do not bulk bill. DVA gold card holder patients do not incur any out of pocket charges. All accounts much be settled on the day of consultation.

Our reception team are happy to explain the fees that might apply to your consultation. If further procedures are necessary, additional fees may be charged and our doctors are happy to explain these and discuss alternatives.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know 24 hours before so we can offer this appointment to another patient on the waiting list.

Referrals

If you wish to claim the Medicare contribution for the cost of your consultation and treatment, you will need a current referral from another doctor, dated on or before the date of your appointment. These must be obtained prior to your visit and cannot be backdated. Please ask your referring doctor to fax or email this to the clinic, or ensure you bring it with you on the day of your appointment.

Please note this email is for doctors’ referrals only. We do not make or change appointments via the email address. Please call the clinic for this on (03) 9822 9944.

Telehealth appointments

Telehealth appointments are available for certain skin concerns. This involves a video or telephone consultation with the dermatologist to take your medical history and examine your problem. We may ask you to send us photographs of your skin condition before your consultation.
